Sgt. Major Mike here...Wounded but still breathing.

Mr. Skeith, I thank you for your last post and your willingness to "clean it up". Your participation is appreciated.

Mr. Wax -- if you are playing with the kind of money you say you are, then you need to learn a few things. (I am amazed that you don't already know.) You do not need to bail out of your shares at this time to take the loss for tax purposes. There are two ways to take that loss without selling now (assuming you would like to remain in the stock and hope to get more later).

1) The loss is available in the year that the stock is deemed worthless. I think it would be safe to say you could deem this stock worthless if there aren't any buyers offering to buy. That has not happened yet.

2) I am sure your broker would do for you what is called "a penny for the lot" sale. This is a way they help you establish this loss. They buy your entire block of shares for one penny and you then establish a loss. You simply have to ask them to do this and sign a form.

By the way, "penny for the lot" does not apply only to large blocks, but a broker will do this for any share size. So all of you that are thinking you want to sell for the tax loss DO NOT have to sell now. You can wait until the end of December. At least you are still in for a few weeks in case something positive happens.

Mr. URL Dudes -- I admire your technical skills. However, it would be most helpful to add a brief description of the subject matter of the referenced URL. Many times I have followed these little sqURLs and have not been in the least interested once I got there. Just an idea.

Chuckie -- What is this thing your rcvd last night??? Maybe it's time to go back to USFX -- it actually looks like a blue chip now doesn't it?

Capt. Stubing -- You are soooo sensitive. I was worried about that when a swabbie took over as Capt. But I always heard the Captain went down with the ship. Guess you aren't from the old school. We will miss you. Hope you can swim.

Your Faithful Sarge

ps. For anyone that would like to send comments to SGA (in the last newsletter on Thursday night they asked for comments regarding how they have been mistreated and misunderstood), Ted Melcher's email address is:

I am sure he would love to hear from you...maybe even offer you a discounted subscription.
