I don't understand the volume issue either. It appears that we have had a volume malaze for about two weeks now. I am wondering where those funds that were waiting for earnings are?
Further, this site is not as popular as it once was. Were did everybody go? The run to 46,000 would have been competitive before. I surrounded the number without a challenge. Still lost, but in this stock's hey day, it would have taken seconds, minutes at most to get to that post. Now it was within 18 messages of 46,000 for hours.
It seems even with the good news we have lost steam. Insider sales I am sure have not helped. Good news and management being compensated by options is not a good thing for shareholders in the near term. Long term I still like the company and it prospects. (Just read the research reports on the News Only thread, if need to know why I like it long term.) And the insider sales, as Gary Korn had researched, is a normal event in this company's history.
But it sure takes the wind out of the sails. And at a time when NN, FORE, and others are looking good, it makes new investors wonder why ASND is not. InterOp ought to be a good time for this sector to show off, instead we have management taking home more money and our stock value is effected for the near term.
It is hard to win a race with the sails empty. But then, just like the wind, you never know when it will blow again.
