Hello all, Does anyone have a guessstimite as to what the price of oil needs to be in order to make drilling economically feasable in the US? Also I was reading todays business section in our local paper and I noticed this following tidbit: The price surge at the pump was partially fueled by last week's spike in wholesale prices, which was attributed to a brief power outage that curtailed production at three Southern California refineries. But even as those same wholesale prices began to subside Monday, more oil market storm clouds were brewing on the horizon as OPEC considered lowering their oil production to boost the currently low price of crude.
