Mr. Patrick Cavanaugh of White Knight Resources reports
White Knight Resources and International Pursuit Corp. have commenced
drilling at the Tonka property in Elko County, Nevada. The drill program is
financed by International Pursuit which is earning a 50 per cent interest
in the project. The program will consist of a total of approximately 8,500
feet of rotary drilling designed to test four target areas. It is estimated
that drilling will be completed by the end of May and final assay results
will be released as they become available.
The Tonka property lies on the Carlin gold trend between the Gold Quarry
mine and the Rain mine which are both operated by Newmont Mining. The gold
mineralization which is targeted on the Tonka property is similar to the
Rain area deposits, Gold is hosted in the basal Mississippian Webb
formation rocks at the contact with the underlying Devonian Devils Gate
limestones. The gold mineralization is localized in elongate zones along
high angle structures.
