Microsoft is having a field day enjoying unpayable free advertising on a product that had been panned as a non-event. Of course they are saying the whole industry will crumble. Go Bill, you're a genius.

Imagine the publicity as they take this to the wall. In fact, maybe it would be in MSFT's interest to let it be delayed for a couple days or even weeks as the world screams for Win 98.

Funny thing is the stock market will go down and then it'll be forgotten as quickly as this is not really all that important. I suppose hardware and stores could be hurt if they miss a few days sales, but this will just mean a few days better sales the next week.

Regards,

Mark
