Yes, I find the number of hits per user session to be very impressive, and I definitely think the fact that users are spending that much time studying the site is a great sign.

The challenge, PR-wise, will be to focus people's attention on this: 52 pages per user session, a remarkable number. A lot of folks will probably focus on the 520K hits, which will look low to those who have become accustomed to the numbers that Yahoo! and Netscape generate. I think 520K hits in one month is excellent for the beta version of a highly targeted Web site . . . but the reality is that Yahoo! and Netscape have set expectations in the investor community that are unrealistic in this context. This isn't about "eyeballs" -- but rather about quality visits from qualified prospects.

I have no doubt that Mr. Zagoren's team has accounted for all of this and will be right on top of it. Another recent post speculates that ZZ is releasing news in such a way as to create "building blocks" leading up to the launch. It sure looks that way to me, too.

I wonder what countries these visitors have come from. Will the PNL subscriber base, at least in the early stages, be primarily from North America -- or will we see a broad international mix? I don't recall seeing any breakdowns by nationality in the projected figures I've read so far.
