uh Huh huhuhuhuhhh. You said "pigeon whole"...

Cool weekend story number two.

Yesterday I had some trouble driving home. The street near my house was blocked, and a big crowd of people were driving badly and parking all over. I couldn't see what was going on. I figured yet another set of power lines down or something.
So I get home and park. I grab a glass of liquid refreshment and walk briskly to the scene of the (?). It's a mile away. Two helicopters and a small plane are circling, so it's gotta be good. As I get closer, there's debris in the front yards. Leaves, Then twigs, small boards, big boards, roof shingles, partial trees, whole trees (sans roots). It appears a downburst or small tornado touched down in our neighborhood. There were no injuries, but a coupla houses were red-tagged and maybe ten more are heavily damaged. I helped a lady drag tree linbs off her cars&driveway.
A twister. In Sunnyvale, CA. Waht's next - a hurricane?!

Our neighborhood was untouched, except it looked like we got a heavy rainsquall. The soil had that golfball look.
