"I personally belive that Jesus was a great prophet and teacher. I can and do respect those teachings. I am not sure if Jesus is the Son of God or not." A prophet is a man who speaks for God. Jesus the prophet said that He was the Son of God and one with the Father. Jesus the prophet said that when you had seen Him you had seen the Father since they are ONE. Jesus the prophet said that He was the promised Messiah of Israel. Jesus the Porphet said that no man comes to the Father but through Him. Jesus the prophet said that He would die and be raised from the dead for the sins of mankind and for their justification in righteousness. Jesus the prophet told us that His sacrificed blood would cleanse mankind from their sins if they had faith in Him. Why wont you obey the Words of your Prophet? Mark, are you saying that you know that Jesus is a prophet but you simply choose to disobey and not believe His Words? If you really believe that Jesus is a Prophet, why wont you follow His Words? Yaacov's beliefs are more consistent. He denies that Jesus is a prophet, so why should he follow Jesus's Words. I think Yaacoov is the kind of man that would immediately follow Jesus's Words if he were convinced that Jesus was indeed a prophet.
