The self extracting file is transferred by you. When you create the s/e file, you tell it where you would like it to be placed. When whomever double clicks on the s/e icon at the server end (after the file has been rec'd by that computer), that will be where the file is extracted. Or are you telling me that you do not know where they will allow you to place it?? If I am misunderstanding, Sorry!!! I'll just butt out.<g> Monty
