Mike, Some nice stuff! Thanks! Well, I guess we are getting caught up in a tech downdraft. In any case, to answer your previous question: Acquirers: Potential Targets: Electronic Arts Midway Broderbund Akklaim GT Interactive Virgin Activision Activision Infogrames Infogrames Cendant Broderbund Eidos Microprose Hasbro Eidos Mattel 3DO Microsoft You can draw lines from one column to the next to figure out possibilities. But the ones I find most attractive: Brod/ATVI, BROD/MPRS, BROD/Eidos ERTS/ATVI, ERTS/BROD, Eidos/Infogrames Cendant... I seriously doubt MSFT will buy anyone, though it would be relatively easy and cheap to do. Where's THQI in all of this? No where. It has nothing to offer except perhaps people who are good at porting games to other platforms. They were lucky with WCW, that's all. No infrastructure. Highly vulnerable to competition. Not large enough to do its own acquisitions. Enough said. OK this is not done but I've got to go....I'm still thinking...
