Don. When you're at the meeting it would be good to get an indication from Bud Hawk about what he knows on the NASDAQ/AMEX merger and whether or not AMEX stocks are going to get onto NASDAQ screens. The reason I ask is that because AMEX has no high-flyers on its board very few brokers actually subscribe to AMEX at $30 per month.

My broker says he is the only one with it and that's mainly because of his CYI clients. When he's changed firms he always has to get management to agree to paying the $30 per month for his terminal as he can't keep running into the manager's office to check his PC.

This is really the guts of any promotion problem with CYI being on Amex. No broker is going to recommend a stock he can't access easily so the result is NYSE and NASDAQ get all the action.

If Amex stocks are to be put on NASDAQ screens with a general promotion then there's a chance for companies like CYI. If not then you can beat the drum all you like and still brokers will avoid promoting the stock due to the lousy $30 per month they have to pay.

Rob

PS. Re Lunch. Maybe you'll get free lunch at the Colonel's ... Sanders that is, not Stafford's <g>.
