<"FORE is going to bought...." Over and over like a stuck record. Real annoying.>
Tidbits -
Do you know what is annoying often too? Some people with stubborn rejection of this possibility. It's not personal opinion on you. On this and other threads "I-know-better" folks are expressing radical views like: "No buyout ever, FORE will live without it". Or "It's all B***S***" and insult other participants...
Why can't those experts admit the following: "Let's our stock price will grow on improved fundamentals, releasing new products and better financial margins, but if buyout occurs we will fly even higher!
<If someone does buy FORE, the larger the buyer the deeper FORE's stock will drop!> Let me disagree. The price must be RIGHT. Then suitor and takeover candidate will come to agreement. Considering FORE current success as leader in LAN ATM (outstanding 40+ scaleable to 100 Gbt WAN products are in a last stage of development!!!) nobody is going to give company away cheap. What logic or fact(s) you experienced before do you use in this prediction???
<With a new CEO and a new bunch of VPs, I doubt the executive group would want to sell and become small fish in a bigger company...> I have nothing negative to say about Thomas J. Gill so far, but he DOES NOT have technical expertise to run this company for many quarters or years. He is financial specialist, so is new CFO which you call a bunch. They have no power inside. You know who has: Francus, Onat, Robert and Eric. The others ARE small fish. Former YURI CEO is 500 million dollars richer now, do you think he was the only one who loved high premium?
<FORE is doing well by partners so why does it need a big slow company as a parent?> Stock FORE did not performed well during last 18 months, budget and R&D size are TOO SMALL to compete successfully long term. We are talking NOT about exciting working (not sleeping) environment but of Net Income. That's a key to continuing success.
As I express nowadays: I don't care about takeover coming next Monday, but I will never deny this possibility.
