I am all for SLDRAM, Rambus will be forced on the PC community with premiums and royalities that are not necessary. It's worth noting that the first generation SLDRAMs give you 800MB/s, which is the same throughput as today's 64-bit wide 100Mhz SDRAM. DRDRAM is more ambitious at 1600MB/s/chip.
