FWIW, I had an opportunity to quiz my GP at length today about VVUS & Viagra while being seen for possible strep throat. He confirmed that the influx of patients requesting Viagra is substantial and that he is prescribing it "over the phone". He also confirmed that the premise of Muse prescriptions increasing from "failed" or associative Viagra patients was very likely, and that he has prescribed Muse (6 x)and will continue to prescribe it for those that do not benefit from Viagra. I asked how the 6 Muse patients had responded, and he said that while he had not received confirmation of success, neither had he received any complaints.

I asked if he had been called on recently by the VVUS rep., and he said that as a matter of fact he had just met with the VVUS rep last week and was given a number of instructional videotapes by VVUS on the condition (ED) and how to use Muse. So, they (reps)are definitely hitting it while the visibility is hot.

He gave me a copy of the tape which I just finished viewing, and found it to be professional, comprehensive, and provided a clear understanding of the product and how it should be applied. This is a great method of introducing the product to prospective and new patients as it allows the patient and their partner to view it in a non-embarrassing environment. I'd be happy to mail the tape on if anyone's interested.

At any rate, this information and the $2 buck increase has me feeling a lot better about my VVUS position than this time yesterday!
