R.M. Rosenthal has a good point...
"You might have a different point of view with more DD..."
For those of us who have done our DD, and as I've repeated time after time after time, I'm not talking about checking CCSI's news, pulling up its chart, and checking its financials, but REAL research that requires more than hitting a few keys on your keyboard, we have no concern re whether CCSI is down on any particular day. Those longs who are nervous, are longs who haven't done their DD, and/or are attaching onto the shirt tails of those who have...how do you do REAL DD? Hmm, you could take Janybird's course on Research I which is free to anyone who can evidence that they are really short on CCSI, or you can "hit the street", in person or by phone (sorry, not computer), find out who the big holders are, and then interview them and find out why they're in the stock, what they're concerns are, if any, and what their expectations are. You can go to the company and request interviews with the principals and get their side of the story (yes, that means more than requesting an "investor packet"). You can seek out academic/practitioners in the field and solicit their opinions, rather than read their academic reports. You can seek out professionals such as hospitals, doctors, e.g. end users, and find out for yourself the level of their need and interest. But all that takes work, and for those interested in CCSI as a momentum play or a quick play, they're not going to do that; neither for that matter, are 90% of the so-called "investors".
99.9% of the posts on this and other threads are pure BS. Do your own DD and view these posts for entertainment value and maybe once in awhile you'll pick up a morsel. Perhaps more importantly, you'll find someone who seems to know what they're talking about and you can establish a valuable exchange of information privately, assuming of course, that person has chosen to make their identity known and are interested.
David S., anti-ccsi, and whoever all have a stated agenda...to drive down the price at whatever price. Why you folks are wasting your time reading and/or responding to their ridiculous posts is totally beyond me; they have succeeded in destroying your thread of any substantive exchange. If some poor soul comes to these threads, and relies on these threads as their only or primary source of information as to whether or not make an investment in CCSI, they deserve to be misled by the shorts.
You make your own decision, I and my friends have already made ours. Personally we could give a flying leap what anyone else thinks, cause we've done our own DD. Ms. MacFarlane has put her life into the company and the recent activity speaks for itself (and the current price isn't bad either, 23.25 pre-split). There's more to come, and don't bother to ask me when; I'm an investor, not an insider.
Why did the price fall today, or on a particular day last week? Why did the price climb earlier in the week and last week? Yea, I have a few clues and opinions, its interesting, but it's really irrelevant.
As I've said before...buy CCSI and sit on it. That's my opinion and I think I have darn good reasons. If you disagree with me, that's great, but I could really care less, and I'm certainly not goin' waste my time trying to convince you. Try ESOL or CAML or BXMNF...
P.S. To all those Merrill Lynch brokers out there reading this post, "hi guys and gals"...he he he |
