SYNT Thread:

I sold my small batch of remaining SYNT shares today. I had sold a similar batch just after the split. Luckily, there was a nice gain.

SYNT just seems tired. IMHO the y2k sophisticates are the ones who have bought the y2k shares.

The general, average, market investor probably barely knows what "Y2K" stands for. He's beginning to understand the term but hasn't looked into it to any significant degree.

If SYNT should light up again, then there's plenty of time to re-invest.

I don't have the confidence in the post year 2000 time frame for exhalted prices. This is not to say that SYNTEL and IMRS aren't really very sound business enterprises, which they surely appear to be.

The sophisticated investor may be able to look a few years into the future. For me that's exceptionally difficult.

Good success to all

Too, there's something to say for P/E ratios which don't exhibit irrational exhuberance.
