To all,
Japan is down 3% right now. I don't get it? Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and other SEA nations have been taking a bath recently and the semi-equipment makers get upgraded? Plus, the SEA Tigers are not getting much press even though it's appears to be getting pretty bad once again. Kind of reminds me of the first time the Tigers got into trouble. I was reading about it in early July 1997, and followed it in detail up to October. Then, BAM! That's all everyone talked about when the market crashed about the third week in October.

I'm just wondering when this latest bout of falling markets, currencies and rioting is going to hit the mainstream financial press? Or are we just tired of hearing about it and no one is acknowledging it anymore. Kind of like White Water. It's terribly important, but people are getting tired of hearing about it. If you want to read some really pessimistic commentary, go to this site: WWW.STOCKSITE.COM for some very interesting commentary by the Contrarian, Bill Fleckenstein. Hold onto your hats though. He's pretty pesimistic but at least he backs it up with sound reasoning.

Does anyone have any links to historical charts for foreign market indexes and historical charts for currencies? I can find plenty of sites with quotes, but I can't find any with historical charts.
Thanks, MikeM(From Florida)
