The country has become polarized, with the IRGC going so far as to threaten the moderate leadership with beheading, and with rioters hitting the streets in the thousands. The foreign policy gambit has become more difficult, as there are now Iraqi Republican Guard forces where Iranian commandos attacked Mojahedin rebels in March. However, if a pressure valve is not found soon, the violent manifestation of Iran's domestic policy schism may become inevitable."
