Hey Guys -- Just back from the FGII reception. Nice party. It was like the old days...lots of familiar faces. There were also a ton of analysts. You can tell by the way they look that they ain't "oil field"...they are kinda wormy looking. But I bet I saw at least 25 of them in the room (they had name tags so I had more than the worm look to go by...actually, the babe analysts were kinda hot).

I was able to catch up with my old pal Jan Eric Dyvi from Norway. He is the guy who is a partner with FGII in the ILION. Great guy. He once told me years ago that even though he is very rich, he always flys coach class. When figured on a per hour basis he enjoys making $600-700 an hour by just sitting in a chair. (The difference between coach and business/first class on a cross the atlantic flight.) Then he says if he wants to he can take the $3000 or so in savings and have fun like hell in Houston. Very nice guy.

I was told by a top manager with FGII (who recently joined) that FGII is a very well managed company. Things are not done haphazardly. They have top management meetings at least once a month where all aspects of the company are discussed and planned. He, being fairly new to the company, was very impressed.

Earlier this afternoon I met with the CEO of CKH. Very straight-forward guy. I found him to be very impressive. He said he doesn't play the Wall Street game of cow-towing (my words) tothe analysts and making projections and predictions that may not come true. He let's the results speak for themselves. You owners of CKH can be happy with your leader.

CXIPY -- Analysis breeds paralysis.

I better go get my beauty sleep...another big day tmw.
