Michelle,

I fell your pain. This is a high risk stock and I usually don't mess with BB stocks because I learned a couple of hard lessons that have served me well since then. That said, I have been had an order in on ACOR for a few days and it finally executed today. I bought 1000 shares at 1.75. I may try to accumulate more shares at these prices. I think there is good potential for gains here but I still consider this a speculative move and I may end up taking a loss.

I couldn't agree with you more that the basic business must continue in the event of a personal emergency. I don't consider the rapid release to be basic to the business. What will ultimately drive this stock price up or down will be earnings and that is produced by making auto loans. This is better monitored month to month and not day to day. While we are waiting, it would be nice to see the price move up, which I think it deserves, but it would be unreasonable to expect anything but wide spreads and volatile prices on ACOR for several months. Hopefully all of this activity will occur in conjunction with an upward price trend. I would get real nervous if management allowed ACOR to lose loans due to personal absence. I'm not talking about a day or two delay but actual loss of revenue. I am sure someone would fill in if this situation were to arise.

My advice to you would be to keep in focus the reason why you bought this stock (or any other for that matter) and if your goals are met or conditions change you should consider selling. There is nothing wrong with taking profits or cutting losses. Having said that, I hope you decide to stick this one out for a while because I think there is a reasonable opportunity to make a profit here. Also, I hate to see other investors getting out at a loss. That isn't good for the stock price, especially a stock with such a small float. Still, its your money and only you can decide how best to put it to use.
