With MB Trading you always get 2 to 1 margin, day and night; but when you hold positions overnight you get even MORE leverage for daytrading. At MB the intraday maintenance requirement for overnight positions is only 25%/30%(vs. DATEK 50%) for longs/shorts. That means I could collectively daytrade, position trade, and invest in a total of $150,000 worth of stock with only $50,000 cash! Albeit, the rules are confusing but for me the positives outweigh the negatives.
