Interesting that you should post these sales figures:

1/31/98 3.7 B 16%
10/31/97 3.1 B 9%
7/31/97 2.8 B 12%
4/30/97 2.5 B 4%
1/31/97 2.4 B 20%
10/31/96 2.0 B

notice that the % increase is DECREASING. It is hard to artificially inflate sales numbers because they aren't subject to stock buyback manipulations. Now, just imagine if Mr. Nirvana economy leaves and goes home w/ his toys. PC sales to business will plummet. (I believe that is DELL's focus...the high-end business model?) Then, even worse, a temporary injunction is granted against MSFT's release of Win '98 on the 15th. Anything related to PC's will get destroyed in the mkt... MARK MY WORDS ON THIS ONE..IT WILL HAPPEN.

Yet, we are supposed to pay 60x earnings for this stock. COME ON. If I owned it, sure, I'd lie out my butt and say it was worth 80x, but I don't and I'm rational and I'd rather not sucker people. come on guys. take your profits, enjoy your riches, and lay out by the pool. DON'T BE GREEDY it always ends in disaster and shoulda-coulda's

Tomorrow is setting up to be UGLY for the broader mkt, and after DELL's tweezer top today and the afore mentioned low vol on this rally to new highs since 70, DELL could see Mr. Blowoff.

All IMHO of course!
