Well,

According to a Bombardier press release dated today ...... the Award of the $1 Billion
contract to build a rail line to JFK Airport was OFFICIALLY SIGNED TODAY and
the "go Ahead" .... given !!!!!!

So, STVI is DEFINITELY in on this deal. Skanska, Bombardier, Perini and STVI beat
out 5 other competing consortia bids to win this contract.
YYYYYEEEEEEHHHHHAAAAAWWWWWW !!!!!!!

Now it would be nice if STVI came out and told us how much of the $1 Billion they get
=). 8-10% sounds like a good number since engineering and reengineering will be
expensive and ongoing inspection support should run the 5 year life of the contract !!!

It is interesting that the company really hasn't put out much news over the years but here
are two other HUGE projects they are working on that run at least thru 1999 =):

>>>>>The firm is currently involved with two of the country's largest design/build
infrastructure projects: Amtrak's High Speed Rail Project along the Northeast Corridor
and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Transit System for NJ Transit.<<<<<<

The gov't has recently approved $40+ billion in infrastructure upgrades around the
country. Some of this cash is bound to end up with STVI as they have focused some
bidding in this area.

Earnings comparisons for the next year are going to be FANTASTIC. Since the price
settled back today ..... I think I need to get a few more shares to put away under the
pillow 'til next year.
