Rule: Be careful with you orders!

I've violated this rule more often than I've cared to.

Much confusion possible when you are entering the various combinations of Buy/Sell orders (Limit, Stop Market, Stop Limit). Just when I thought I had it down pat, today I entered a Buy Stop Market order when the current price was below my stop. I should have entered a Stop Limit order; instead, I got filled immediately about 3/16 higher than I intended.

But this is mild compared to some of my previous mistakes. I've lost too much money in the past due to stupid order-entry mistakes. Check your order carefully before you send your order.

Good trading, all!
