You really did well on VIEW, Fred, and I think you're looking in the
right area with QKTN. I'm interested as well, and am trying to get
some contacts inside the company. It seems that it's Japan that's
bringing the business down, but that situation might right itself in a
quarter or two. I understand from industry contacts that QKTN made
a very positive and well-received presentation at the recent HQ
(Hambrecht & Quist) Technology Conference in SF. I'm back online
and I'll pass on any more relevant information.

With respect to EDA, the reason multiples don't soar is that there is
a very finite demand for EDA products-- after all, how many electrical
engineers are there? It's impossible for an EDA package to become
a success outside the small market of chip designers, etc. But it's
a great field and there's plenty of money to be made for guys like us who don't simply follow the herd.
