I have heard that bad things are supposed to start happening to Japanese banks and their borrowers at that threshold, too. However, the Nikkei has already traded below that level, 450+/- points lower and not just intraday, within the last six months if I am not mistaken and the Japanese economy still stumbles along. Is there something different this time?
