(way off topic: feel free to ignore, friendly joke)

(please read with the glossary so as not to offend)

How to, (take the piss out of), a Australians strange language:

(G'day) (cobber),

No (wuzzers) (mate). That was 192 (strine) (bucks) or 125 (yank) (bucks) for the SI membership. (Strewth), (I'd be flat out like a lizard drink'n) to find a flight for that price. If you (reckon) ya can find tickets for that price you should all get into ya holiday (clobber) and come and have a (dekko) at our fair country.

I was (having a go at) Linda, cause she seems like the sort of a (sheila) that doesn't mind a small joke. I wouldn't ask anybody to grab us a G3 and bring it here.

I don't wanna start a (blue) here or nuthing but my first post was just a joke its way to (crook) to seriously ask a stranger to do that. I live in (bloody woop woop) to far down the (frog and toad) to make casual visits.

I (reckon) SI is just (beaut), (I'll be buggered if I) have a clue about this trading (capper) but.

(hoo roo)

(Fair dinkum) (true blue) (Aussie) Matt

*note: notice we end sentences sometimes with a "but".. weird huh?

Glossary
frog and toad = road
hoo roo = see you later
Fair dinkum = honest.
true blue = Australian from birth, decendants are Australian (possibly not a politically correct definition today)
Aussie = Australian. a annoying habit of Americans is to spell it ozzie. This is incorrect I think it was brought about because of the singer ozzie ozborn. Lets not start on how badly Americans actually say "Aussie".... make my blood curdal.
capper = thing
I'll be buggered if I = I don't
bloody woop woop = Miles away
crook = no good/ bad/ sick
blue = fight/disagreement
having a go = playing/ can also mean fighting but doesn't in this case.
sheila = lady
dekko = look.
clobber = clothes
strewth = wow!!
to take the piss out of = tease
G'day = hello, this is a greeting not a fairwell HerbVic.
cobber = friend
wuzzers = problems/worries
mate = friend/replace mate with name i.e HerbVic
strine = Australian
bucks = Dollars, we say bucks more than quid
yank = American
flat out like a lizard drink'n = busy

P.S. this is not my usual language ;) and i hope i haven't offended anyone.

Thanks for the welcome HerbVic :)
