I use WinZip version 6.1. and to test your situation I used the *.exe file from Microsoft Access, which is about 2.8MB. It zipped fine, at about 45% compression. You might check the 'properties' for the file, to see that it is not 'read only'or some other restriction. On topic. Nice to see a few / some postings with pheonix like musings. Possible hope, not hype,with proceedings based on facts...on the horizon.
