I feel we are going 180 degrees apart on this issue. But I will try again. You/we should not use our own words but those of the Bible, so I will be quoting passages of Scripture. Maybe that is why people misunderstand things to often.

Verse 26 refer to the Anointed One, do you agree that this is Christ.

Verse 27 refers to Abomination that causes desolation (Antichrist?) until the end is decreed is poured out on him (God's wrath at the end of the 70th week of Daniel).

Robert, how can there be the same reference to one person here.

I also like to compare Scripture with Scripture. Here are supporting verses elsewhere:

Matt. 24:15-- I spoke of this about the Olivet Disclourse yesterday so no need to rehash.

Dan 11:31/32-- his armed forces (Antichrist 10 nation final beast empire) will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he (Antichrist) will corrupt those who have violated the covenant but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

Robert, how can you say this is Christ in 11:31-32

Dan 12:11-- from the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that cause desolation is set up there will be 1290 days.

This is the last half of the 70th week when Antichrist reveals himself and demands worship.
