The following is from the Shareholder Action Online Handbook:

To get a broad expertise over a whole set of issues takes an enormous
amount of time and effort.Selecting and prioritising the issues for
research is therefore the only viable way of proceeding. In any case,
the most effective campaigns tend to only focus on one issue at any
one time. So there is no particular advantage in devoting large amounts
of time to mastering issues that will not be the object of action in
the immediate future.

It seems to me that Charles and Pam are proceeding in exactly the right
direction. What we want to know first is whether we are shareholders
in a company that really owns an operational tin mine in Bolivia and
that is precisely what they are attempting to determine.

A while back, didn't we have a volunteer to go to Bolivia in the middle
of November and check the mine out? And didn't someone else say they
could arrange cheap or free airline passage to Bolivia because they
have a relative working for an airline? Maybe, that would be an alternative
if Pam and Charles are unsuccessful.
