AlphaCONNECT Releases StockVue Software for Web-Based Investors
New Financial Software Free to Internet Users
SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 1998--AlphaCONNECT(R), a technology division of Alpha Microsystems (Nasdaq NM: ALMI - news), Wednesday announced that it has released its StockVue(TM) software (version 2.5) for Internet users who track financial investments.
The company announced that the award-winning product will be available for free download at www.stockvue.com. The product features financial content from leading providers including stock quotes and news from PC Quote (AMEX: PQT - news), analyst recommendations from Zacks Investment Research, SEC filings from EDGAR-Online, business information from Manning & Napier Information Services, and others.
PC Quote will be actively promoting StockVue to its user base through various mediums including its Web site at www.pcquote.com. StockVue will be offered at no charge to end users and will be supported via advertising revenue.
According to the announcement, since its initial release in 1996, StockVue has received significant media attention including recognition from numerous publishers such as C/Net, PC World, PC Magazine, Home PC, Information Week, DBC, Fortune, Registered Representative, Los Angeles Times, and many others.
