Actually I have to disagree with that one. There is only one kind of unconditional love, and that is unconditional. The only "discipline" if you will is the souls remorse at having its wait for reunification with God to be lengthened.
I have argued before on this thread, that God can achieve anything he wants. Given that fact, if the ultimate outcome is assured anyways, would god choose to take a punitative path, or a path of love and redemption? Remember, the outcome is the same. God is not like a human parent, who struggles to know what the best thing for a wayward child should be. God is the ultimate and highest form of consciousness, and IMO knows that the best path to any outcome is the path that is pure and unconditional love.
