Pete, I think everyone at Digital saw this coming. My question is, at earnings per share of 1 cent last quarter and perhaps nothing this quarter, how long does it take Compaq to make up one time charges of $1.5-2 billion? Of course, the stock is up on the news because nobody cares about writeoffs and everyone knows that CPQ will sneak some of that writeoff money into eps one of these quarters, "beating the street." Sad, but true.
