Sam you remembered the rocks. I still remember those little piles of dark granite rocks...someone out there in Birbhum, beyond the dead blue sky and the absolute fresh green of the rice fields, some son of a bitch was a budding nascent capitalist and I was his victim. For every pound of rice he added a pound of pebbles. I suppose he was just like Daniel Drew watering his stock before he sold his cows in New York.

And your right...once the road gets into you you can't get it out. Never.
