I presume that since you are addressing it the tgs as well, you are targeting the Texas market, although the general principles apply globally. I, too, hope the rumor is false. I have previously posted my concern over price wars in the industry. They are not good for anybody. The part that concerns me the most is when a company prices their product so they can't even make a profit just to gain market share.

I also think this is bad for the industry as a whole. In my opinion there is no easy way to recover from this practice once it's started. It is EXTREMELY difficult to raise prices, especially in this industry. There have always been the low end providers (inexpensive products, little or no service) and the high end providers have needed to differentiate themselves. The problem lies in that the customers (hall operators, managers, etc.) look at COST rather than increased NET INCOME. When customers look at increased net income, the high end providers are usually the best VALUE.
