Mayor,
Good luck, I am also looking to buy low, although I don't think we'll see .10 (maybe .15 tomorrow morning, but I doubt it).
I spoke to Carl (IR guy) at Greenland yesterday as I said I would. Here is our conversation:
1. Greenland IS presently authorized up to 100,000,000 shares. Present total outstanding shares is 37,000,000. No new ones issued since April when the convertible debentures were settled (4,000,000).
2. They have NOT yet applied for final FCC approval. They have a section 5 test license. They are still beta testing and once complete they will submit for approval. Carl's words were that this should be 30-60 days.
3. I asked about beta, and where they were field testing. I wanted to contact people at the utilities that were evaluating the system to get their impressions. He said they presently do not have ANY field installed units, and all beta testing is being done in their lab.
4. He did say thay Richmond is a "test contract" thay they will begin filling once FCC approval is finalized. Also hinted that there were other such "test contracts".
5. Financials: Said audited financials were out of their hands, waiting on return from thier accountants. Said he did not see why that would be "press release worthy".
I have not embellished or put spin on any of these facts. Over all, I think not much has changed, especially for the investors who have been in this stock longer that 2 weeks. Short term investors who bought on hype may read some of this with surprise. Overall, I found Carl to be very forthcoming, and he was very optimistic about the future of the company. Draw your own conclusions...
