Sorry to hear that. I was thinking about placing an order for that same PC. The problem you are experiencing occurs frequently. Some dope in forecasting erred slightly. Just wondering how this might affect this quarter's earnings. Probably a good sign. They're keeping inventory down, or increased demand is using every drive they can get through the door. A few years ago, getting a PC from Gateway in 3 weeks was a miracle. We've gotten spoiled. As far as that friendly postcard you got, I think there's a law now that they have to offer to cancel your order and refund any money if it is delayed. Let us know how your PC works out... As far as the stock goes, it does seem to be on the "overvalued" end of the spectrum. But as you say "I haven't heard of this problem from Dell."
