Now that the hype has disappeared from these threads for a while, and these stocks are all being beaten down to reality perhaps it is time to seriously take a look at those companies that will stand the best chance of profiting if the y2k problem is any where as big as estimated, and the big companies don't decide to do most of the major fixing themselves. You have NANDA's fab 4 which I believe are IMRS, SYNT, MAST and KEA along with numerous others that are highly touted as having the best tool on the market or the best manpower to handle the volumes of work that are surely due to arrive. I am currently long in ACLY, ISLI, ALYD and my horror story DSYSE which I fear I will take to the grave with me. When I compare the prices of many of these stocks now to where they were 6-8 months ago most are available at big discounts. For those of you who really understand this technology, which I surely don't, perhaps share with us which companies really present some value based on conservative estimates of future business and leave all the talk about moonshots and which stock will get to 50 first aside for now. I would hope the shorts would take this opp. to speak up also. Thanks.
