PS: Henry, how low can the Nikkei go before some of the Japanese banks are technically insolvent? With unrealized losses eating into their capital, how impaired is their ability to make loans and what kind of premium are they paying to borrow in the bank market? Also, did they actually implement the accounting change that essentially gave them higher of cost or market accounting for their equity holdings?
