To me, by far the most interesting tidbit in this PageNet agreement is that GEMS got a piece of the pager action. MOT normally expects to lose a certain amount of the infrastructure biz to GEMS, but to have GEMS supplying pagers to the largest U.S. paging operator has got to sting bigtime. PageNet is very price-oriented, so it has to mean that GEMS could be taking it to MOT on price for the next-gen pagers. This would be very interesting, because GEMS has good connections to many of the paging operators worldwide, so the sales channels are there. There are a lot more dollars spent on pagers than on infrastructure and it could denote a new revenue equation in GEMS's product mix.

I am surprised not to see it higher on this much volume. There's still an awful lot of resistance in here. But I do think it's got what it takes to go through the 52-W high of 21 and change.
