Another New Battery Technology Company

Power Technologies, Inc. (PWTC) has developed an environmentally friendly and powerful battery technology targeted at the emerging electric vehicle market as well as other industries which utilize portable power supplies. This technology will allow production of a battery that is substantially lighter than a conventional lead-acid battery, has a quicker recharge rate, is cost-effective to manufacture, and is environmentally friendly. Although the specifics are proprietary to Power Technologies Inc., the technology involves greatly increasing the active surface area of the battery plates while cutting the battery's weight in half. This proprietary technology can provide approximately twice the power of a similar weight lead-acid battery, and can be used wherever a conventional battery is used. The unique structure of the battery allows for the use of a non-toxic metal alloy and non-toxic, non-hazardous electrolyte.

Power Technologies has applied for numerous patents and plans to find a strategic partner of magnitude with the manufacturing and marketing capability to launch a viable product in multiple markets.
