I would have to concur as well. Oracle is leading the NC charge, but doesn't have a server platform. They also have back-end software for databases and mail, as well as desktop productivity apps, but no back-end OS.

Finally, they could easily pull off the deal, making it a no-brainer for them to do so, especially if the company is in play.

Another leading candidate in my mind is CA, who just pulled off the Cheyenne acquisition.

As to whether or not any of this happens is anybody's guess. We'll see what happens on Monday I suppose.
