Scott, Katherine, or anyone,

Am I missing something? This sounds like a research project that may or may not produce a product that may or may not be sold about 10 years from now; and that will suck up some R&D from more near term opportunities; and that won't produce any revenues or earnings in my lifetime.

Any insights would be appreciated.
