"Anyone who dumped NMPS today is going to feel stupid tomorrow."
Actually, I had not seen your posting or the earnings until this weekend, so I did not have a chance to dump any NMPS. I feel more stupid for not dumping.
I expected their losses. This is after all a start up company that has not yet reached its potential. R & D expenses are high. With the introduction of their first product, I expected revenues on the way to ramping up towards their potential as a billion dollar company.
The jump from last year's $97,000 to this year's $484,000 certainly seems like nice progress. However, the company was not selling anything last year. The second quarter this year, Matritech only sold in Europe. This quarter, they expanded into the USA, and even Asia. Revenues from the larger territory this quarter compares to $454,000 in the last quarter, or up 6.6 %. The increase puts quarterly revenues from kit sales at $ .03 per sale.
