T-mex: Needed you and your short friends to drive things down slightly lower...not quite enough to fatten my position. Appreciate the effort though. I'll be chatting up a former Ford plant mgr. in the next couple of days. If he says anything interesting about the embedded problem, I'll pass it along. As to upcoming CC, I feel Jenkins MUST emphasize two basic points. He must talk about continuing post-2000 remediations. For some applications, estimates range as far out as 15 years. He must also talk of his non-Y2k business prospects. I think TAVA has been lumped in with the 'one trick pony' Y2k lightweights, and Jenkins must disavow the investment community of this notion. As for earnings, I am disappointed at the .04 to .01 recent plunge, which leaves Jenkins to point up the differential from last quarter, which is pretty dramatic. If the earnings really lag, and if Jenkins is not as strong as we think he will be, TAVA will continue to trade in an unacceptable range which will force even the strong hands to take a significant portion of their position off the table and get it working. I'm starting to get my old trading jones' back, especially in abandoning two old favorites, Chrysler & General Magic for plumping up TAVA recently. Come to think of it, virtually all my post are on the TAVA thread. We're engaged, but not married as yet! I may be ready to stray...it all depends on the 12th. |
