Zip drives are $79 with $10 disks that hold 100 MB. The next generation Orb Drives are $400 with $30 disks that hold 4.7 GB.

But how much for a USB zip drive? exactly. Iomega may make one eventually, but will it be available in 90 days? And do people really feel good about having to upgrade a computer system they just bought?

Floppies are nearly useless.

Some would say a computer without the ability to import and export files is nearly useless. In the future(3-5 years maybe) when most homes have high speed access to the net this computer will be great. But for now it is missing critical features to compete in the market. And I sure hope HP can come through with some afordable USB printers in time for the launch or this thing is is really gonna hit the market with a thud.
