Do I have to shoot the messenger? <g>

We'll probably disagree on this one though. I have played every hand held unit in the market. GMTC hand held unit is by far the most superior (my opinion of course). That isn't to say that the others aren't good. They just don't have the graphics capabilities (they also don't cost as much to produce either) I've always said that every hall would be better with someone's product than without electronics at all.

I have also talked with technical people from every company that is in the industry. The maintenance of GMTC's hand set doesn't seem to be a problem. Believe me, I was concerned about the staying power of the unit myself. It just isn't as "beefed up" as others, but so far they are performing well in the field.

As to the service organization GMTC has, that is one of the best (again my opinion) things about GMTC. They have made a total commitment to service (not because they have to as you suggest) , which most other companies have not. I believe the companies that survive the coming years are going to HAVE to me more and more service oriented. (talking with players, managers, hall people, cashiers, etc.)

I think I'll wait to see the court papers myself. Plaintiffs and defendants have vested interests in divulging skewed information. It's easy enough to check.

Good point about wars being lost underestimating an opponent. I am a student of Sun Tzu, so I rarely do. Besides, I don't see it as a war between companies per se. Certainly there will be battles over particular halls, but the war will be enlarging the market. This isn't a zero sum game. There's no reason we can't make money with AGTI, GMTC, MGAM, and whoever else out there has quality products.

What do you make of the volume today?
