Jeffrey...Whoops! You are absolutely correct...and I appreciate your noting that VERY essential difference. As we had discussed in the past, the crucial figures are chip UNIT growth and a "Complexity Factor" to determine the effect for the photomask folks (and, apparently, also for the laser -- CYMI folks). At least, according to the analyst cited by the NY Times in the article )previous post to Denis), the growth rate can be expected to reach 30%, compounded, for the next five years, although the chip industry will grow only 17 to 18% Thanks for keeping me in line, J!; my impending senility could otherwise get in the way of a great investment! :-)..
