Cheryl - Never underestimate how *desperate* DEC is and has become. I literally had DEC reps crying when we awarded a service contract to IBM - they were promising that they were going to support a mixed environment Unix shop when they clearly had no experience on other than DEC machines. They were literally whipped into a frenzy to get services business since it was the only growing line of business compared to their declining Hardware business. Perhaps I should have given them the contact and sued them when they couldnt perform - anyway, this "premier" service organization is now Compaq's problem.
