jtechkid,> watch the asian markets recently. the biggest negative on amat is most of the street is bullish which is a bad indicator in the semi group because when reality sets in you will see probably some downgrades. it will be scary if china devalues-good night< How far would you short AMAT? How much cash would you place on your position? Isn't the "poof in the pudding" how much each of us investor's are willing to invest in our position? I believe it is. For long term traders who buy AMAT at these levels with a PE of 19.8% the upside reward far exceeds the downside risk. Yes, I purchased additional shares of amat for my three children at $33-$36 in their IRA'S. Twenty nine years from now I am sure they will be greatly rewarded! Just my opinions. Paul V.
